Dr. Richard Ort, M.D. has served as founder and medical director of Dermatology and Laser Institute of Colorado since 2001. He has served many thousands of patients from Denver, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Parker, Castle Rock, Centennial, and surrounding areas. At our practice, we often treat entire generations of families, including children, teenagers, parents, and grandparents.

We treat all conditions involving the skin, hair, and nails. The most common conditions include acne, warts, moles, cysts, and skin cancers. We also frequently see eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, ringworm and fungus infections, impetigo, boils, and rashes.

Given Colorado’s intense sun, we see skin cancer on a daily basis, including basal cell cancer, squamous cell cancer, and malignant melanoma. We encourage patients to come in for an annual skin exam to look for any suspicious moles or growths. We specialize in the advanced treatment of skin cancer, including curettage (scraping) and surgical excision. We strive to make any procedure as painless as possible and try to give every patient the best possible cosmetic result.

In our direct pay practice, our focus is on the doctor-patient relationship, which is based on mutual trust, honesty, and integrity.
