The trend is toward patients opting for smaller procedures that require little or no downtime and that are less invasive than cosmetic surgery. Their time is limited, the doctor says of his patients' busy schedules. Still, they want to look better, more rested and natural. It isn't uncommon these days to see a patient in his/her 30s for cosmetic treatments like Botox versus waiting until their 40s, 50s and 60s.
Downtime is what most patients wish to avoid. When it comes to deciding between one treatment and another, they're more likely to opt for the treatment that doesn't require them to miss work or be laid up from family activities.
