Our Backstory
The Dermatology & Laser Institute of Colorado, P.C. opened its doors in 2001, introducing a new level of dermatology care to residents of metropolitan Denver.
Until the mid-1970s, what is now called Highlands Ranch was a 22,000-acre working cattle ranch, owned by the prominent Phipps Family. The Phipps, comprised of philanthropists and even a Senator, helped to settle Denver and the west. Highlands Ranch was designed to be a creative interface of residential, recreational, retail, and commercial development. Medical facilities and physicians were naturally attracted to the upscale community, the Dermatology & Laser Institute of Colorado among them.
It's no coincidence that our physicians have been trained at some of the finest institutions in the country. One of our core values is a commitment to exceptional education and ongoing training.
