Dr. DiCarlo
Joshua B. DiCarlo, M.D. and Diplomat American Board of Dermatology, is a Board Certified Dermatologist and has authored numerous medical journal publications in the field of dermatology.
A graduate in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University, he completed medical school at Emory University School of Medicine and a full family medicine residency in Austin, Texas. In 1999, Dr. DiCarlo focused his interest on the specialty of dermatology and returned to Emory University, where he served as a Research Fellow for two years before completing his second residency in Dermatology in 2004. He served as a full-time Assistant Professor in Dermatology at Emory University for three years before joining Dr. Ort in practice at Dermatology & Laser Institute of Colorado. He currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at University of Colorado and staffs a monthly clinic at the Denver VA Medical Center.
Dr. DiCarlo's professional interests include the treatment and prevention of skin cancer, management of general dermatoses and evaluation of skin allergies/contact dermatitis. He is a member of the following professional societies:

He is married and enjoys running, black and white photography, playing the pedal steel guitar and spending time with his kids.
