I’m embarrassed by my tattoo- how do I get rid of it?

Tattoos have become extremely popular as a way for people to express themselves.  Unfortunately, we see many people who regret their decision to get a tattoo.  Often, the regret starts soon after the tattoo was placed.  For others, the tattoo serves as a reminder from a distant part of their life that they would rather forget.  So you are certainly not alone in wanting to get your tattoo removed.

We offer a non-judgmental, discreet approach to every patient.  Prior to treatment, we counsel patients in detail about the tattoo removal process.  We offer the Medlite C6 laser, a high-powered, state of the art laser.  Some colors (especially black) respond better than others to laser treatment.  Multiple treatment sessions are required, but those committed to getting rid of their tattoo can achieve outstanding results with minimal scarring.  Another option for smaller tattoos is to simply cut out the tattoo, which gets rid of the entire tattoo at once and leaves a surgical scar.  A final option for some people is to over-tattoo the tattoo with a new tattoo.  Laser treatment can make this easier, since the lighter the tattoo, the easier it will be to cover with a new tattoo.
